Hailing a yellow cab in New York City is almost as hard as finding a job. Everyone has their own method but this one is proven to make your life a little bit easier. Need a cab? Like everything else, there is now an “app” for that. There is a new iPhone app available called ZabKab that sends ZabKab user cabs in your direction. ZabKab is a giant map app that allows you to notify cabs who subscribe to the service that you are in their area and need a cab. While the app is free for users, cab subscribers must pay a fee for this fare-magnet app. Either way, it is beneficial for both parties.
Cabbies won’t spend half their shift looking for customers and customers won’t spend half their day looking for a cab. While there are still some glitches in the system, the app made its debut last week and has been in high demand ever since. Make sure the cab that arrives is a LICENSED yellow cab as ZabKab can allow anyone to register. Check out ZabKab and let us know how it worked for you!
